IT Skills

During my time on the BTEC 1st Diploma in Media I used Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel. I have also used iMovie, Windows Movie Maker, Garage Band and Adobe Audition effectively to create and edit my coursework. When researching information I can find what I am looking for on the internet, often in a short amount of time.
I am familiar with email because I use it on a daily bases and haven’t encountered any difficulties for a long time.

My Hobbies

My hobbies include reading, playing games and watching films. I like to read action and sci-fi books like the Alex Rider series and ‘Twilight’. I also like to games on my Xbox 360. My favourite types of games are first person shooters like the Call of Cuty series, racing games like the Need for Speed series, sports games like the Smackdown vs. Raw series of games and third person games like Gears of War 2 and GTA IV. I also enjoy watching films, specifically action and sci-fi such as the James Bond films and the Star Wars films.

BTEC 1st Diploma in Media

What I especially enjoy about the course is the photography and editing. I like the photography because I can go out and find my own pictures to take. I enjoyed the editing because I like taking the existing the footage to put it in order and correct it.

Personal Statement

I am patient with people when I am in a group and people are talking to or over each other. I am a team player because I listen well to people when it is there time to talk and I know how to express myself because I am both literate and articulate. I am good with my hands and I am loyal.
Also, I know how to deal with confidential material. I am an ingenious, original person who is able to take advantage of opportune events.
